I am watching the episode and the commentator said that when Henry and his friend went to the campsite the cops said that Henry was already dead when he was driven into the camp so why would you handcuff a dead person and beat them? It is clear that the police officers of New Orleans were crooked and just went on a killing spree","pt":"Sep 1, 2010 22:16"},{"nm":"Thomas Tuohy","rs":"0","ms":"All my life I have roughly equated any city\'s police force with the military. They are a para-military organization at the very least and then of course there are SWAT units, and all the weaponry and tactical training that make them essentially a military type group. Right? So, basically you can compare any high school grad who enlists in the armed service, just for the benefit of having their education paid for upon discharge, to a police department applicant who\'s aspiration in life is to become a civil servant so that he/she may perform the most good for their community and garner the prestige of the occupation and the admiration of those you\'ve known all your life growing up. Here is the catch...the kid who enlisted in the Marine Corps did so at the wrong time. War broke out and the President sent him to war. War is not where he wants to be. He sees himself in a classroom someday, but he knew what signing his name on that line in the recruiters office meant.. He must go and that is that. I preface my comments with that explanation because I want to comment on a particular N.O police officer, Dwayne Scheuermann (sp?) Everyone who ever mentions this murdering pig talks about the stress he was burdened with, mostly self-inflicted burdens, in the days after Katrina. I however, like to point out that many people deal with stress in much less violent and illegal ways. Lets just say we, nobody, not the Buddha would have dealt with that with out tons of brick worthy monuments, ok? Agreed. Didn\'t Scheuermann know the deal when he signed his name on that recruit application to the police academy? Didn\'t he know this could happen? Didn\'t he know that if it did, that was the moment we needed all of his virtues and training and all this we thought was his nature. Now we come to know his nature. All of the NOPD was under stress. They were stretched to the limit during Katrina and afterwards. Afterwards they (everyone involved) conspired to cover up the actions of a few. That makes them all guilty and they all deserve to be indicted for murder. Because they is what they did. They hid the fact that one of their own murdered some one and they all tried to keep it hidden as best they could. I have to be sick now.","pt":"Aug 28, 2010 20:09"}]}); });
