I have spoken with numerous people who were ex- NOPD officers and other individuals who currently live there. Nobody trust the police. I have always believed that the police were doing a lot of the killing there. People are afraid to go places there for fear of being killed or harrassed. I have a friend who returned there with his family and he told me that within the three months he was there, he recieved 18 traffic tickets. That is ridioulous! He is a Reginal Transit driver and he stated that he is not happy there and told me to not return to New Orleans. Riley in my opinion is a liar and he along with Ray Nagin are murders. A friend of mine who happened to retire from NOPD stated" they are crazy down here. I have something to tell you, but I can\'t tell you until I retire." I never heard that information. I am afraid for my family members who returned there. When I recieve calls I am always afraid it will be bad news. The people of New Orleans have been wronged. It is not Black or White thing. It is a people thing. Everyone at that time suffered at the hands of the police.My daughter was at the Convention Center and she along with my grandchildren experienced a lot of what took place there.
